Marty's Merry Go Round

We enjoyed our getaway for some wonderful Murrells Inlet seafood. The short walk to the beach was a plus. The cottage was comfortable and easily accessible to Hwy 17 and anything we needed. Would recommend a new coffee maker. Also if a time lapse between renters, recommend a quick check and wipe down before renters arrive.

My vacation in this quaint place served its purpose perfectly for what I needed it for. I have stayed and visited many beaches all up and down the East Coast. Myrtle Beach/Surfside Beach are the only ones I have never visited. This year's vacation I decided to visit. All I found was places that were to big for just my brother and myself or more than I was willing to pay. I did this at the last moment which didn't help my cause. I then stumbled across the "Merry Go Round". A block from the beach, space for a golf cart, ample room for two cars, enough room for a family of five, and all the amenities of any other rental, it was perfect. It didn't have a pool or a hot tub, but I didn't care. I rented this place due to it was central to what I wanted to do. It is a block from the beach, and who would need a pool at this point? I'm not a big swimmer after all (even though I did get a skimming board and did use it at least 7 times). Would I stay here again? Yes I would.

It was better then expected. Rental was clean and close to beach access. Will book again in the future.

This unique little “round” house was perfect for our stay at the beach. Clean and exactly as described and less than a block’s walk to the beach! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Thank you!

The accomidations were cozy and well kept. A few minor issues were noted and maintenance came immediately to correct them. Both maintenance personnel and management were kind, respectful, and aimed to please. Will definitely consider another stay here.

I loved the location of Marty’s Merry Go Round. Easy access to the beach and perfect for a sisters get away. Every thing was clean and had all that we needed. If this was my property I’d work on cleaning up the outside to make it more quaint and get rid of all the extra dining chairs. Would be nice if the place came with an extra garbage bag and broom. Other than this I’d absolutely rent this place again and again and again.

This is a cute, unique little spot less than a block to the beach. The beds were really comfy, the space was well laid out and clean. The property isn't super private, but the decks and back yard provide a nice space for a cookout and family time. My only complaint is that there wasn't any dish soap or sponges to do dishes with. We used maybe three glasses the whole time we were there and didn't need to use the dishwasher. Other than that the place was great.

We had a great stay at this cozy beach house in Surfside, SC. A last minute change had us looking for better accommodations and this was everything we needed. 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath with full living room, Kitchen and sleeper sofa. Our family of 5 absolutely loved our couple days here and would stay again. <5 minute walk to the soft sandy beach.
If you’re keeping up with the Jones’ then this might not be for you however Justin and Tiffany will make sure you have everything you need for an amazing stay in paradise.

My husband and I went to Surfside Beach for a spur of the moment long weekend with our son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. We were lucky to get the little round house for 2 nights. It was cute,comfortable and clean. We were within a short walk to the beach. We had a really nice weekend there.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a month and it was perfect! You cannot beat the location. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It’s close enough to walk to things to things to do like bars, restaurants, arcades, the beach or pier for fishing. The neighbors are all really nice and it’s a great neighborhood. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

I’m the husband of Casey and my father Alan came along with us for a weekend that is going to go down in the memory book for the rest of time! Amazing vacation with our family as we had stayed recently at another AirB&B closer to the main road, but this approximately 200yrd walk made this along with all the other accommodating amenities the better choice! Thanks for a nice easy going weekend with family that way made perfect with the right choice in a stay!

I was fully prepared to stay in what looked like a manufactured yurt trailer that was obviously from the year I was born. I don’t mind if things aren’t new and shiny, and great location looked GREAT. I could NOT GET OVER how incredibly shabby and grubby everything was. The floor didn’t feel clean, the couch looked like it belonged in a frat house and the master comforter was OLD AS THE HILLS. I’d planned to cook some meals in the kitchen area but it was too depressing, the tin foil on the stove and the age-old cooking film on all the cabinets. It seems that since this place has been rented out there has been little to NO maintenance updates. Quite a disappointment.

Really enjoyed the Merry-go-round. It was a very short walk to the beach and stayed well within budget. The only thing that could make it better for the price is for the decks to be covered.

Adorable little round cottage, perfect for just the two of us. When we first arrived DishTV was off and the shower knob did not work correctly, but the property manager came right away and gladly fixed the small issues. Very nice gentleman. Very short walk to a beach access. Perfect location.

Our vacation rental experience was Excellent!Family trip with my mother,my 13yr old niece and my 9yr old nephew.When we arrived,the rental was in fine shape and the air conditioning was on and cool inside.I immediately checked the place out and reported anything that was out of the ordinary and the management company was right out to fix any problems we had.(Not Many)The glass blender had a crack in it,and they brought over a brand new one so we could make smoothies.The freezer door wouldn't close all of the way,some ice that had built up was the cause of the door staying opened & had melted into the floor.Within minutes of my phone call the management was out fixing the problem and cleaning up the water!The hose pipe handle seal outside had broken a couple days into our vacation which we used every time we came back from the beach to rinse off, causing water to spray every where leaving no water pressure but again right away someone was out and replacing the part.The kitchen was well stocked with plates,cups,cooking utensils, and pans so we cooked meals every day(AWESOME)Trash pick up schedule was on the refrigerator,Even though We had Trash Angels! One day we came back from the beach and someone had already pulled our trash cans out and the next morning after pick up someone put our trash cans back!The walk to beach was in fact the same amount of steps they advertised on the Beach cottage!There were only three negatives we came up with after our Charming stay at Marty's Merry Go Round; my mother really wanted a clothes line to hang up clothes instead of using every inch of space on the nice wrap around porch,the outside shower was not in workable condition it would have been ideal to use instead of the hose pipe or taking turns with the inside shower,and the pull out couch mattress was horrible-I ended up putting every couch cushion under it every night in order to get comfortable. Thanks so much we hope there are some updates and we WILL see you this summer!!

The experience was great we really liked it.The house is really pretty.And I would really recommend it to anyone that I know.

Had some problems with the internet but other than that we had a great time and Marty's Merry Go Round was a neat little house.

I came to stay with my 2 brothers & had a great time! Renting the house was no problem & the staff were very professional. One block away from the beach, and everything was accessible. i would definitely recommend this place to family & friends.

Beautiful beach house. Can't wait to take another vacation we will be calling myrtle beach management. They offered great location at great prices.

It was last minute. Wonderful.

Great location. Walk to beach but off the busy street. We walked to restaurants and entertainment. Will be back!
